Maiton is the closest thing Phuket has to a private island. A small teardrop of soft sand and coconut palms twenty minutes off the east coast, ringed by clear warm water - and patrolled, if you are lucky, by a resident pod of dolphins.

Maiton feels private in a way the bigger islands cannot. There are no day-trip crowds and no beach clubs - just a quiet anchorage, clear water and your own boat swinging gently on the hook.
This is the route with the best chance of meeting dolphins. A pod lives in the channel around the island, and sightings on the way out or back are a regular, unforgettable bonus.
The water is consistently excellent. The island sits in open sea, so visibility stays high and the snorkeling right off the boat is easy and rewarding.
It is a natural choice for couples. Short crossing, secluded feel, golden light in the late afternoon - many of our proposals and anniversary charters happen exactly here.
