South-east Phuket, 10-20 minutes from Kata, Karon and Rawai. The closest start for Coral Island, Racha Yai and Maiton.
Chalong is the busiest pier on Phuket and home to most of the dive boats and private yachts of the south. Chalong Bay is the only year-round anchorage at the southern tip of the island, which is why so many yachts are based here.
From the south-west beaches it is the obvious choice: no long drive across the island, and Coral Island is on the horizon as soon as you leave the bay.
By car without traffic, with a margin. In the morning allow 10-15 minutes more.

From Kata and Rawai it is 10-20 minutes. We arrange the transfer on request.
The pier is long, about a kilometre, and companies meet their guests in different places. We send the exact spot the day before.
Larger yachts wait in the bay and the crew picks you up by tender. At low tide this is the normal way to board.
Full days end in the late afternoon. Restaurants and bars around the bay are a short walk away.
About 16 km, or 20-30 minutes by car. From Kata, Karon and Rawai it is 10-20 minutes.
Sometimes. Larger yachts often anchor in the bay and the crew picks you up from the pier by tender. This is more likely at low tide.
It is possible, but the bay is about 53 km away by sea. For Phang Nga Bay a yacht from Ao Po Grand Marina saves several hours on the water.
Our sailing catamarans Lagoon 400, Lagoon 42 Silver Moon, Lagoon 450 and Lagoon 500, the Blue Aqua catamaran, the Leopard 51 power catamaran and the Ferretti 80 motor yacht.
Send us your date and the number of guests, and we will suggest the yacht and the route.
